DC will never forget the 2009-10 Winter
View What happened in D.C. last winter? in a larger map
The 2009-10 winter was a memorable one for those that lived in the nation's capital.
The snowfall totals in the area were of 54.9", breaking the previous snowfall record over a century ago.
Thousands of Washingtonians decided to 'enjoy' the weather with old-fashioned snowball fights.
Dupont Circle was the main site, there were two teams: Dupont North and Dupont South.
U street also had its minute of fame, 14th and U Street NW was the place to be.
I was there...
Movies Movies...
My top five favorite movies of all times:
- Scarface
- Pulp Fiction
- Good Fellas
- Breakfast at Tiffany’s
- A Clockwork Orange
Five movies I’ll never watch again:
- Samantha Darko – What is it about?
- Gigli - I want those hours of my life back!!
- The Invention of Lying (I couldn’t even finish watching it!)
- Knowing
- The Happening (Gosh! Total waste of my time…)
I wished I would had read Bill Gibron’s review before investing my sacred movie time in that movie…
Oh well, now I know better...
Every time I decide to watch a move I check the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes or in Movie Review Query Engine (MRQE).

Poor Tiger...
Yes, it's news.
Yes, it sells
But, the story is getting old...
Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all time. He had won 13 majors!
Until not too long ago, he was believed to be perfect...perfect career, perfect family, perfect temper... he participated in charitable work, helped others in need...
Then, one day...the world realizes that perfection is utopia...and that Tiger is indeed human. Therefore, he make mistakes...
Suddenly, the media turns against him...his sponsors pull out...and he is in deep trouble...
I say, let the man be... as long as I can watch him with my father on father's day winning another major... I'm happy...
I don't need him to be Mr. Morality, I just want to see him golfing.
PS: Thank you Nike for being loyal to Tiger, it will not be forgotten

Today's class was a little puzzling...
I found myself thinking I would probably try to avoid at all costs to have to have to use those dots and slashes...
I did enjoyed finding out about the awesome existence of the Google key word tool.
This tool can help me to attract readers by searching what are the key words that most people look for when the refer to that subject.
That's nice!
