I also found out about other interesting programs such as browserlab.adobe.com and atebits.com
I'll start playing with them as soon as I have some time off.

You'll get the hang of it. I blogged for fun back in high school and would oftentimes fool around with HTML. And now a lot of the stuff just comes to me intuitively. It's all about, as you said, practicing.
